These intensely coloured spikes of violet flowers have a beautiful scent that pollinators love and are winter-hardy and weather resistant.
Sometimes known as ‘East Friesland’, Salvia nemerosa ‘Ostfriesland’ is a lovely salvia, bearing spikes of violet-blue flowers from summer through to autumn.
It’s perfect for growing towards the front of a sunny border, and is extremely popular with pollinators.
