Delivery Information


  • Our delivery charges in a nutshell - Most of our products are standard 48-hour delivery. If it’s not ‘Bulky’ or ‘Haz-Chem’, it’s ‘Standard'. Please allow extra days for delivery during any sale, holidays or promotional periods.
  • FREE delivery when you spend €199 or more – on all orders, unless an item in the order is classed as ‘Bulky’.
  • FREE delivery when you spend €30 on pet food – applies to pet food only, normal delivery rules apply to any other items in your basket.
  • €5 surcharge for Haz Chem orders – this is a once off surcharge per basket if your order value is less than €199. If it’s more than €199, delivery is free.

Our Standard deliveries are made by An Post Courier Services and the goods will need to be signed for upon delivery.

  • We charge a little bit more to deliver non-standard orders and because we use specialist couriers for our non-standard deliveries these orders can take 3-5 days for delivery.
  • Haz Chem items incur a €5 surcharge per basket if your order value is less than €199. If it’s more than €199, delivery is free. Haz chem surcharge applies to all orders containing any product designated as a ‘Hazardous Chemical’, such as dairy detergents. These orders will be delivered by drivers who have received special training for transport of dangerous chemicals.
  • Bulky items incur a €40 flat rate delivery charge. This is the total charge, regardless of how many items are in your basket. If you have any ‘Bulky’ item in your basket, your entire order becomes a ‘Bulky’ delivery and free delivery offers do not apply.
  • Some Products (such as coal and briquettes) incur a weight based charge and are excluded from Free Delivery. These items are marked on the Product page.
  • Payments for all products must be by Glanbia Trading Account, Credit Cards or Debit Card (MasterCard or Visa).

Delivery Policy

If there is any problem with your order or delivery, our customer care representatives are here to help from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. If you’d like to speak to them directly, please call: 1890 100 017 or email: hello@glanbiaconnect.com To help us assist you quickly, please quote your order reference number from your order confirmation.

Delivery Time

  • We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours (Mon-Fri) with 48 hour delivery on all standard deliveries. Please allow 3-5 working days for non-standard deliveries. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. Please allow extra days for delivery during any sale, promotional or holidays periods.
  • If your item is listed as ‘in stock online’ it is usually ready to ship straight away. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this site, sometimes we have to hold our hands up and admit we have made a mistake by unintentionally publishing inaccurate information (e.g. the price, description or availability of a product you have ordered). In this instance we may have to cancel or delay your order, even if you have received your confirmation email. We will refund any sums you may have paid for items which will not be provided.
  • Vaccines and other chilled products are shipped on from Monday-Thursday only as they must be stored in temperature controlled conditions. So, if you order vaccines from Thursday- Sunday, we will dispatch them the following Monday. Temperature controlled products are delivered in insulated boxes.
  • Delivery dates are estimated and we are unable to accept any liability for delays which may be outside our control.
  • We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

Accepting Delivery

  • We currently ship to all addresses in the Republic of Ireland, except PO boxes.
  • For standard deliveries, your order will be delivered by An Post. You will receive an email with your tracking infomation when it has been dispatched from our warehouse. You can track your parcel(s) at any time by searching by your order reference number. Please allow up to 1 working day for your order to be traceable on the An Post system. If you are not available to take the delivery, you can choose to delay the delivery or direct it to your local post office.
  • For non standard deliveries, your order will be delivered by Breen's transport or one of their partners. For delivery updates on non standard deliveries, please contact us on LoCall 1890 100 017 or email hello@glanbiaconnect.com quoting your reference number.
  • Please check your delivery carefully when you receive it and contact us within 48 hours to tell us of any breakages or shortages.
  • Risk and Title- The products will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership of the products will only pass to you when we receive full payments of all sums due in respect of the products, including delivery charges.
  • Our couriers will deliver your order tothe address provided at the time of order but for insurance reasons cannot bring your order into your property. Please make sure you have help on hand, if needed, for large or heavy orders

Delivery Restrictions

  • For some products, such as animal medicines and knives, someone 18 years of age or older must be present to sign for the package
  • Vaccines and other chilled products are shipped on from Monday-Thursday only as they must be stored in temperature controlled conditions. So, if you order vaccines from Thursday -Sunday, we will dispatch them the following Monday. Temperature controlled products are delivered in insulated boxes.
  • There are a small number of offshore locations where we may not be able to deliver to. If this occurs we will contact you to arrange a refund
  • If a carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we will contact you for further instructions and may charge you for storage costs and further delivery costs. If despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or re-arrange delivery, we may end the contract with you. We will refund  any money you have paid for  the items we have not provided but we may deduct or charge you reasonable compensation for the net costs we will incur as a result of your breaking the contract with us.
