Gibney Head Scoop Left is suitable for all large animals. There is a ratchet which gives the operator the power of four to one and also makes it much safer to dose or tag large animals. When the animals head is securely in place it does not hurt them in any way but simply restrains them to ensure the safety of the farmer. Also available in a right model, you can order which one suits your crush area best. The ratchet has a clutch which allows for quick release and a telescopic arm for adjustment, allowing you to suit the size of the animals neck. When you are dealing with animals you should remain calm and plan the area ahead to avoid any animals breaking out or mixing pens. Check all dosing measurements and ensure the vaccine is in date. Wear suitable clothing, gloves and beware of animals attempting to move their head or legs when they are in the head scoop.
