Animal nutrition clinics in Agri branches
To help farmers deal with the challenging Spring, the Glanbia Ireland farm team will hold animal nutrition clinics at 19 locations from Monday March 26th to Wednesday 28th.
The late Spring is causing significant stress to farmers and their animals. According to Teagasc, year to date grass growth is less than half of what it was this time last year.
Due to a shortage of quality forage, recent days has seen a sharp drop in the average protein content of milk deliveries. Based on the weather forecast, grass supply is expected to remain low for another 2 -3 weeks.
To help farmers deal with the challenge of managing their way through this very difficult Spring, Glanbia Ireland branches will hold a series of Animal Nutrition clinics on Monday 26th to Wednesday 28th of March. Experts will be available to provide support and advice on how best to manage herds and minimise the impact on the forthcoming breeding season. The clinics will take place at the following times:

In addition, an animal nutrition clinic for Glanbia milk suppliers will take place in the Lakeside Hotel Virginia on Wednesday evening 28th March from 7pm.
