The combination of heavy snowfall and the arrival of Storm Emma is bringing severe weather conditions to many parts of Ireland later this week. Met Eireann is advising that the worst of the conditions are expected across Wednesday, Thursday and into Friday with a status orange and red weather alerts coming into effect across the east coast.
As far as is possible and safe we will continue operations over the coming days. Given the potential weather variability across the country, such decisions will be made on a site by site basis.
- Customer Services – will operate as normal, no impact expected
- Branch opening hours – no changes currently to advertised opening hours. We advise customers to monitor local weather conditions and if conditions deteriorate phone ahead before travelling
- Online orders - Customers can order as normal. We expect delays in deliveries – normal delivery will resume next week
We are asking that all customers to take guidance from Met Eireann and from the Emergency Services in respect of local conditions and do not undertake travel that places you at unnecessary risk.
Our first priority is the safety of our customers and employees and while we will aim to continue operating normally as far as possible. Please use your common sense and don’t take any unnecessary risks or journeys during the bad weather.
