Update. Thursday 1st March 1:00 PM

All our branches are closed from 1pm on Thursday to allow staff to travel home safely. We will reopen all branches on Saturday morning subject to local weather conditions. Any updates will be made available on our Twitter accounts @GlanbiaAgri and @GlanbiaConnect

The health & safety of our staff and customers is our absolute priority. We’re very proud of our teams who’ve worked incredibly hard to help customers during these tough weather conditions. We appreciate our customers’ patience as we get back to normal service over the coming days. Stay safe everyone.

Update. Thursday 1st March 9:30 AM

We are opening branches this morning where possible but due to worsening weather conditions in many areas many branches will remain closed. Please phone ahead before travelling and do not make any unnecessary journeys.

Feed deliveries will be very limited today. Most branches are open this morning for feed collection. The following branches are closed: Mountmellick, Kells, and Windgap. Please phone ahead before travelling and avoid any unnecessary journeys. Branches will open until 1pm subject to weather conditions. Farm Safely

The combination of heavy snowfall and the arrival of Storm Emma is bringing severe weather conditions to many parts of Ireland later this week. Met Eireann is advising that the worst of the conditions are expected across Wednesday, Thursday and into Friday with a status orange and red weather alerts coming into effect across the east coast.

As far as is possible and safe we will continue operations over the coming days. Given the potential weather variability across the country, such decisions will be made on a site by site basis.

  • Customer Services – will operate as normal, no impact expected
  • Branch opening hours – no changes currently to advertised opening hours. We advise customers to monitor local weather conditions and if conditions deteriorate phone ahead before travelling
  • Online orders - Customers can order as normal. We expect delays in deliveries – normal delivery will resume next week

We are asking that all customers to take guidance from Met Eireann and from the Emergency Services in respect of local conditions and do not undertake travel that places you at unnecessary risk.

Our first priority is the safety of our customers and employees and while we will aim to continue operating normally as far as possible. Please use your common sense and don’t take any unnecessary risks or journeys during the bad weather.

We will advise of any further updates through our social media – Glanbia Connect Twitter, Glanbia Agribusinss Facebook and Glanbia Agribusiness Twitter
