Monitor Farmer Peter Mongey: “A One Man Show”

Efficiency and maximisation of resources available to Monitor Farmer Peter Mongey is of top priority on his farm in Co Meath.

Peter keeps a close eye on soil fertility in order to provide his animals with good quality grass, reducing his dependence on imported feeds.

The Teagasc/Glanbia Joint Programme was set up to position dairy farmers in the Glanbia area to take advantage of growth opportunities that arose post 2015.

Join us this Autumn as we visit the monitor farms involved to learn what skills and knowledge they have gained from the programme to sustainably and profitably future proof their dairy farm businesses.
