160th Gorey Agricultural Show

THE countdown is underway for the 160th Gorey Agricultural Show

Glanbia Ireland are proud to take over as Main Sponsor of this event that is at the heart of the community.

Competitors and exhibitors will travel from all over the county and further afield to the show, which will be staged at Clonattin, on the outskirts of Gorey on Saturday, June 15th.

The long-running show has an established and solid reputation as a leading event in the summer show calendar.

Glanbia Ireland has a long-standing association with Gorey and North Wexford and is hugely involved with the farming and equine communities.

A network of Glanbia Agribusiness stores stocking a complete agriculture range from GAIN Animal Nutrition Feeds to farmgates can be found at Inch, Taghmon, Ballycanew, Ballywilliam, Clonroche and Kilmuckridge.

In addition to the the core agricultural range, CountryLife stores feature a year-round garden centre and are located at Bunclody, New Ross and Campile.

Expert horticulturists can be found in the CountryLife stores, with 90pc of plants sourced from Irish growers and nurseries.

In Campile, Glanbia Ireland also operate the Allcare Pharmacy which is community focused and prides itself in providing professional healthcare and advice.

Glanbia Ireland is a large employer in the Wexford area, as it operates a state-of-the art Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS) certified mill at Clonroche, Co Wexford and the GAIN Feeds brand is the leading animal feeds supplier, catering for ruminants, equine and pets.

In addition, Glanbia Ireland has invested heavily in the region as the cheese processing plant at Rocklands in Wexford has undergone a major upgrade. The facility has moved from producing 18,000 tonnes of high quality cheddar cheese to around 28,000 tonnes a year.
