The Gallagher small fence reel is a low cost, lightweight reel ideal for shorter less frequently moved portable fences. With a blocking catch and ratchet, it is very compact and easy to use. Capable of holding 200m of Poly Wire, this reel is very portable and has a comfortable sized handle. There is a choice of eight locking positions to keep wire tensioned. The blocking catch can help to stop the tape from rolling if necessary and this can be particularly useful for stopping animals if you are gathering them in a field. It is important when you are moving animals to have enough help and that the people helping you are used to dealing with them. Always prepare in advance and close all necessary gates in case they break away. Be patient and avoid frightening them or making them over excited. Most suited to smaller animals in small confined areas
