Over the last week, senior management from Glanbia including Siobhan Talbot, Jim Bergin and Michael Horan have met with Glanbia co-op Shareholders across five Glanbia regions.

The ‘Glanbia Ireland’ proposals – which, if approved, would see the Co-op acquire a 60% share in Dairy Ireland - are being well received.

The turnout at the Shareholder meetings has been very good, showing a high level of interest in the proposals. Eligible Glanbia co-op shareholders will vote on the proposals at a Special General Meeting (SGM) which takes place on Thursday 18 May in the Punchestown Event Centre.

Shareholders are being encouraged to attend these meetings in order to fully understand the proposals.

Glanbia Chairman Henry Corbally said: “Information meetings are a great opportunity for our Members to meet with senior management and learn more about the Glanbia organisation. It is also an opportunity to gain a full understanding of the proposals being put forward by the Board.”
