Portlaoise Mill achieves certification to world class business standards

Glanbia Ireland was one of 20 organisations from the private, public and SME sectors gathered at National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) offices in Dublin for a special ceremony marking their achievement in becoming certified to world class business standards.

The certification is a recognition of the work and effort Glanbia Ireland’s Portlaoise Mill has put in and underlines their commitment to working towards best practice.

Martin Gorman, Head of Agri Operations for Glanbia Ireland, said: “Our management team are proud that we have received the independently-audited certification as environmental management is a key aspect of our business. The ISO certification process has aided our facilities as it provides a structured approach and methodology which is adapted to the environmental responsibilities of the company.”
