The Glanbia member price for July milk supplies is 23 cent per litre (including VAT) and 2 cpl of Co-operative support. The Glanbia Ingredients Ireland (GII) base price for July is 21 cpl. This is an increase of 1 cpl on the June price.

In this month’s account, approved participants in the Glanbia Advance Payment (GAP) scheme will receive an Advance Payment of 2 cpl on eligible milk volume supplied in May, June and July.

If you are a member of Glanbia Co-operative Society and wish to participate in the 2016 GAP Scheme, please contact the Co-operative Shares Office on 058-22241 or your local Farm Development Manager.

Fixed Milk Price Scheme Adjustments

For participants in Fixed Milk Price Schemes 3, 4 and 5, the July account also includes Fixed Milk Price Scheme Adjustments. These reflect adjustments in the Market Adjuster and Farm Input cost mechanisms within schemes 3, 4 and 5 (representing final 2015 year qualifying supplies and 2016 Jan to June supplies and realigning the base for the remaining months July to December). Schemes 6 and 7 are unaffected.

Deductions to reflect these adjustments were made to your July milk payment prior to a detailed communication from Glanbia. We acknowledge that this should not have occurred and are refunding all such deductions with immediate effect. To ease the cash flow implications of these adjustments, we will now spread any required repayments of greater than €100 over the next 12 months (10 equal instalments, with no deduction in your December or January milk account).

All participants in the Fixed Milk Price schemes will receive a letter detailing their individual adjustment. If you have any queries on these adjustments, or any other issues, please contact your local Farm Development Manager.
