Glanbia Ireland is a partner in the Teagasc Signpost Programme, a collaborative programme to lead climate action by Irish farmers and their transition towards more sustainable farming systems.It launches online at 10am Tuesday, May 18.

The launch webinar will demonstrate how the new Teagasc-led collaborative programme will support Irish farmers to reduce emissions from agriculture.

Speakers include Glanbia dairy farmer, Steven Fitzgerald, as well as Pierre Bascou, Director of Sustainability and Income Support, DG Agriculture and Rural Development, EU Commissions and Teagasc’s Tom O’Dwyer who is the Signpost Programme Manager.

The official launch of The Signpost Programme will also include contributions from Politicians including An Taoiseach, Micheal Martin TD; Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue TD and more.

The Signpost Programme is a collaborative partnership to lead climate action by Irish farmers and includes Teagasc, ABP, AIB, Arrabawn, Ashbourne, Aurivo, Callan, Carbery, Centenary Thurles, Dairygold, Dawn, Devenish, Drombane, Glanbia Ireland, IFA, Kepak, Kerry, Kildare Chilling, Lakeland Dairies, Liffey Meats, North Cork Creameries, Slaney, Tipperary Co-op, Bord Bia, Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, ICMSA, Macra na Feirme, ICOS, ICSA and INHFA.
