Awareness Seminars – Calf Health & Johne’s Control Programme

Following the recent launch of the National Johne’s Control Programme - Glanbia Ireland in conjunction with Animal Health Ireland are hosting a number of Awareness Seminars focusing on Calf Health Management & Irish Johne’s Control Programme.

Glanbia Ireland recognises the importance of calf health and Johne’s disease management on supplying dairy farms and encourages all milk suppliers to attend this important information meeting which will also explain how suppliers can access Glanbia & DAFM funding that has been made available.

The following topics will be covered in these interactive seminars:

  • How to reduce calf infections in the herd
  • What is Johne’s disease and how does it spread
  • Why take steps to control Johne’s disease, even if you don’t think it’s in your herd
  • The Irish Johne’s Control Programme – including accessing the financial supports
